We are a small farm in Duette, Florida that’s located in the northeast side of Manatee County and specializes in producing pastured raised poultry products for our local community. We strive to produce quality meat and egg products that hasn’t been exposed to all the industrial elements such as vaccinations, hormones, antibiotics, high stress living environments, confinement, and no access to grass or bugs. We, Matt and Nicole Brown of The Nickel Farm in Duette, Florida have always had a huge love for the country life. We are proud Florida natives that both grew up on the outskirts of Hillsborough County in the rural area of Lithia. With the both of us growing up in a predominantly strong agriculture community, it was no surprise we both became very passionate about the industry and wanted to embark on a farming journey of our own. In 2018, we bought our first piece of land in Manatee County, Florida and we decided to buy a small batch of chickens so that we could produce quality poultry products for our family. After we were successful with our initial journey and realized how much of a difference natural raised chicken meat tasted compared to the industrial or commercial raised chicken meat, we decided to produce more of this amazing quality of food for others to enjoy and so The Nickel Farm was born. Since then, we have made it our mission to produce the best quality poultry meat and eggs money can buy. We believe after our consumers try our delicious chicken, they’re going to fall in love with the quality of it just like we did.
